of converting of existing applications. This tool quickly converts live data worksheets
built with Reuters DDE and Adfin's RtGet functions to the newer, more stable RtUpdate function.
RtUpdate Converter
Converts Reuters DDE formulas and RtGet functions to RtUpdate table functions.
The Converter allows you to remove/replace the DDE and RtGet calls with cell references
to the RtUpdate table. It also allows you to exclude page based DDE formulas and RtGet functions.
Converting workbooks to RtUpdate can substantially improve worksheet usability and maintenance.
RtUpdate Page Parser
Converts DDE formulas and RtGet functions for page-based data to RtUpdate page table functions.
The RtUpdate Page Parser will add a RtUpdate page table template worksheet to the workbook
and create RtUpdate page tables for MONROW, IRGROW, and TELRATE page based data. The parser
will examine the start and length parsing parameters from the DDE formulas and create columns
of Excel MID functions to recreate this parsing. The Parser allows you to remove/replace
the DDE and RtGet calls with cell references to the RtUpdate table and/or the corresponding
MID functions. Converted workbooks are substantially easier to maintain and debug.
