Can I collect all the Reuters' news headlines worldwide and store
them in a database?
Once you have the database, you can query
the news headlines and extract only those which are meaningful
to you. For example, you could choose to extract the headlines
that come from a particular source or those which pertain to

If you are a Reuters subscriber, have Microsoft Excel 97 and Reuters
Tools, you can do all the above quickly and easily. We have
designed a downloadable Excel
worksheet that is set up to collect all the news headlines
from Reuters and store them in a database. The headlines are
similar to the News 2000 headlines you would see if you typed
ALL in the command-input box in Reuters Terminal and pressed
F9. The application does not require any code but you will need
Reuters Tools to create a Data Series.
