If you want to add Bollinger bands for back testing you will not be able to add them to the primary y Axis. You will need to add them to the secondary axis.

If you have downloaded the Willow Tips 12 workbook the chart has a primary and secondary axis. The high low close is on the primary axes but the moving average is on the secondary axis.

The easiest thing to do is to replace the moving average series on the chart with your Bollinger band series. If you click on the chart, and choose Add Data from Excel’s chart menu you can enter the ranges for your Bollinger band calculations. Just make sure that it is displayed on the secondary axis.
