Willow Solutions has developed a number of tools and utilities to optimize the spreadsheets, ensuring that they will perform as designed and continue to perform in the future. These tools analyze existing spreadsheets, correct errors where possible, and highlight areas of the spreadsheet where further manual intervention may be required.

Many companies find the barrier to taking advantage of new technology is the headache of converting existing applications to the new format. New, better ways of doing business are being introduced all the time, but how do you convert your systems with minimal disruption? Willow Solutions has extensive experience and tools for converting real-time data from one data vendor to another as well as from one spreadsheet application to another and even from one platform to another.

Willow Solution's training classes are targeted directly at financial market professional who already have a good understanding of how to use Access and Excel, but want to extend that knowledge to become more productive and profitable in their day-to-day responsibilities.

Willow Solutions developed the Reuters Tools a number of years ago to make it easier to access and manipulate real-time and historical data from within Excel. Although Reuters no longer sells or supports this product, we have received a number of requests from subscribers who would like to continue to use this product. These subscribers prefer the simplicity and ease of use of the Reuters Tools, and have come to rely on the Scheduler, Data Series and Page tools, which are not available in Reuters more recent Excel offerings.

To meet this demand, Willow Solutions has recently begun marketing an Excel XP upgrade version for existing users of the Reuters Tools. This new version is identical to the old one; no new functionality has been added. The only difference is that the tools now work with Office XP (Excel 10.) wTable is a solution for accessing real-time data in Microsoft Excel. Whenever you change the symbols or fields in your spreadsheet models, wTable automatically detects your changes and updates your real-time formulas to match. You can even change data sources on the fly. If one data vendor is down, simply switch to a back-up, without losing access to models, calculations, and reports.
