Senior Sales Executive
Willow Solutions seeks an individual with proven track record at
selling software to the financial industry, particularly within
the hedge fund community. Must be expert in prospecting, selling,
and closing - with a high energy level, a dynamic personality, and
strong communications skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify prospective clients and key decision makers.
- Generate leads at hedge funds through phone activity, cold calling,
and prospecting.
- Prepare product demonstrations, client proposals and implementation
schedules.
- Follow-up with clients after each installation or project completion
to ensure ongoing satisfaction with software.
- Assist in developing relationships with third party service
providers, prime brokers and administrators.
In this role, you will prepare weekly reports as to sourcing of
new prospects, status of pending proposals, and status of projects
in progress. You will interact one-on-one with traders and hedge
fund managers in a fast-paced environment in order to understand
their business requirements, and design solutions to satisfy these
requirements. As such, you will be responsible for keeping up-to-date
as to industry trends and issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- In-depth Financial industry expertise, particularly within the
hedge fund community, and knowledge that will provide contacts
and lend both credibility and confidence;
- Experience in marketing, prospecting for new accounts, and business
development;
- Demonstrated problem solving skills, customer service skills
and the ability to effectively work in a team environment.
- Understanding of technology and systems, with particular experience
with Microsoft Office products.
- Be creative, independent, self-starter, pro-active and have
a good sense of humor.
